Entertainment's Top Star Makers Offer Expert Advice as Judges for Detroit's 2007 Stars of Tomorrow Youth Talent Explosion

Detroit, MI (PRWEB) May 16, 2007 -- Dwight "Lil Skrapp" Reynolds, multi platinum producer for Whitney Houston and hip hop star Akon, along with international award winning publisher and poet Jessica Care Moore, MTV's Making of the Band star Jason "The Diva Maker" Williams; BET Comic View alumni, Mason Radio, 107.5 WGPR Co-Host Shanie D; and Comedy Central comedian Horace B. Sanders (Master of Ceremony) will show love and professional expertise as celeb judges for Abayomi Community Development Corporation's (ACDC) 2007 annual Stars of Tomorrow Youth Talent Explosion on Saturday, May 19th at the New St. Mark Family Life Center located at 24331 Eight Mile Rd. in Detroit. Doors open at 5pm, show starts at 6pm, tickets are $15.

Inc., Moore Black Press Publishing, Green Eyed Entertainment, Trea Day Management & Publicity, and other local companies and agencies, ACDC, the Northwest Detroit-based non -profit will showcase local poets, actors, musicians, singers, dancers and comedians ages 9-18, who will vie for two $500.00 Grand Prizes, a complimentary consultation with top entertainment attorney and publicist, a free studio session with United Sound Recording Studios, and scholarships to the So You Wanna Be a Star? Workshop in Detroit.

Stars of Tomorrow showcases talent in the artistic genres of vocal, hip hop, musical instrument, drama, dance, comedy and spoken word. "Motown is celebrated for producing super-talents such as Eminem, Anita Baker, Kid Rock, Diana Ross, Jessica Care Moore, Stevie Wonder, D-12 and more," said Stars of Tomorrow Chairperson Natalie King. "Stars of Tomorrow continues that legacy by introducing the next generation of stars."

All proceeds from Stars of Tomorrow will benefit the youth-focused initiatives of ACDC, which has been providing programming to the far Northwest Detroit community for over nine years. ACDC, a faith-based, non-profit, boasts its mission to strengthen and secure families and their neighbors through comprehensive community building.
